Loring Baker is a visual artist who lives and works in Corpus Christi, Texas. She earned her MFA from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi in 2015. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and featured in prominent publications, including New American Paintings, Studio Visit Magazine, and various online platforms, art blogs, and zines. In addition to her studio practice, Baker serves as an adjunct faculty member in the Art Department at Del Mar College. Loring has a son named Holden, and a cat child named Wanda.
